Associates

Andy Shackelford

Andy joined Hendry & Associates in March of 2001 and covers Florida & South Georgia. Andy is retired from the Department of Defense after a 35 year career as an electronic equipment specialist giving technical support in the certification and overhaul of the electronics of aircraft launching and recovery equipment on carriers and shore base equipment. Andy and his family reside in Jacksonville Beach Florida.

Idral Bowen

Idral Bowen has been in the Green Industry for 22 ½ years. He is a CIC and CLIA as earned from the Irrigation Association. He started in irrigation during high school working at Boynton Pump and Supply. After college he joined Boynton full time in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The hills of Alabama were calling him back so he moved to Birmingham, Alabama and went to work for Tieco, Inc., selling Golf and later managing the Birmingham irrigation division. He also negotiated with vendors for all of the Tieco branches. He left Tieco and went to work with Turf Care Products as the Facilities Manager over the equipment, service, parts and irrigation departments. He left there to get back to selling irrigation only with Century Rain Aid in selling central controls in Georgia and opening stores in Alabama and Florida. He left CRA to work for Rain Bird in the Southeast for 10 years before leaving this past February.

Idral has been married for nearly 23 years to his wife Melinda and has two children. Idral III(17) and Maggie (14). He will continue to reside in NE Alabama in what he calls Gods Country by the Lake.

Joel Hynes

Joel joined Hendry & Associates in June of 2003 and covers the markets of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana & Kentucky. Joel has vast experience in sales and marketing working with a number of computer companies such as Lexmark and Marimba. Joel and his family reside in Brighton, Michigan.

Mark Beeson

Mark is our newest recruit and covers North & South Carolina. Mark has a background in electrical and lighting and looks forward to establishing himself in the Green Industry. Mark and his family reside in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
